This educational program is for shingle installers and is based on the Shingle Applicator's Manual, which contains approved procedures for proper shingle installation as well as commonly accepted trade practices. Only those contractors who have mastered every aspect of shingle installation earn the MSA credential.

SELECT Shingle Roofer™ (SSR)

This credential represents the highest standards of excellence, quality and knowledge in the shingle roofing industry. Very few roofing contractors hold this credential, so you can rest assured you are getting one of the best. Becoming an SSR involves several significant educational and accreditation steps.
